*** THIS VIDEO HAS A DELAY/LATENCY ISSUE BECAUSE I GOOFED UP WITH THE SCREEN CAPTURE SOFTWARE. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO THE WITH MPC SOFTWARE OR HARDWARE *** I’m showcasing the basic features and workflow of the new Akai MPC Software and MPC Studio. The primary focus……. Sampling, Chopping, Patched Phrase Slicing & Looping, pulling up Insert Effects, Drum Programming / Sequencing, Song Mode programming, and Exporting the completed project as a WAV, AIFF, or MP3 file.
*** NOTE: 1st, you need to select “Install Content” from the MPC Software Install Disc *** This is a short video showing how to access the over 9GB of factory content, samples, loops, etc. that come with the Akai MPC Renaissance and MPC Studio. (No… I’m not talking about any of these MPC Expansion Plugins – The Bank, The 809, The Noise, The Wub)
West posted the picture, intending to publicize his watching of a Sufjan Stevens video on YouTube. However, there was a suspicious browser tab for the Pirate Bay with a title starting with “Xfe.” The next tab over is the page for Xfer Records Serum, a piece of musical synth software that costs $189. The tab on the other side was a list of the 50 best synth plugins available on Musicradar. Xfer Records was co-founded by dubstep artist Deadmau5, who quickly called West out for apparently pirating the software. Surprisingly, West has not deleted the original tweet.
A new breed of software with innovative graphical interfaces powered by touch is bringing futuristic musical interaction to your fingertips.
